Adrian Rose

Adrian RoseAdrian Rose is an accomplished musician who plays guitar, bass, drums, keyboard and sings. He has been employed as a Church worship leader for many years and is gifted in encouraging and nurturing others, particularly young people, into leading worship. Skilled in leading in both small, intimate places of worship and also larger settings, he has led worship at events involving speakers such as Colin Urquhart, Jennifer Rees Larcombe, David Hathaway, Roger & Faith Forster, Julie Sheldon, Jeannie Morgan and Bishop David Pytches.

Adrian is also a published author. His book, entitled Love Never Fails, outlines the remarkable journey of faith which has brought him to the place he's at today.

Throughout his late teens and early 20's, Adrian was part of a pop/rock band fast climbing the ladder of music industry success. However, his dreams were cruelly snatched away as he became seriously ill with the disabling condition M.E. (Chronic Fatigue Syndrome). As Adrian's former band members went on to sign a major recording contract with EMI records, his health worsened and for 8 long years he became severely disabled with M.E. It was during these desperate years that he became a committed Christian. So prolonged and severe was the illness that doctors had all but given up hope he would ever recover, but Adrian held on to a strong belief that God would heal him. In 2003, Adrian's hope became reality when God miraculously enabled him to literally get up and walk away from the illness - a situation which had held him captive for years. These intense experiences of both brokenness and healing are reflected in the music which Adrian writes today.

Once back in the real world, Adrian began attending his local Church, Linton Free Church near Cambridge, where he became a worship leader and an elder and where he met his wife Louise. After 7 years of full time Church ministry Adrian and Louise left their work in Cambridgeshire to wait on God for the next step.

During this time of waiting, in early 2012, Adrian began to write music and formed a new songwriting partnership with lyricist Phil Thomson which has been remarkably fruitful. Adrian's musicality and wealth of experience as a worship leader, coupled with Phil's profound and insightful lyrics have produced songs with real depth and integrity which would sit comfortably in any Church setting.

Adrian teaches guitar lessons in Stamford, Lincolnshire.
